Yeah, that'd be great. Seems like from what I've heard, guns are currently used more as a talking point to divide people instead.

Sadly, you are correct. Lately it has become more of a polarized political topic and being either for or against guns can come with negative stereotypes either way. I mean I'm not saying "anyone" should own a tank but the problem I personally have is if guns are taken away from innocent people then shifty criminals will just turn to a black market or use home-made bombs, vehicles, and knives instead. I don't think it's a matter of "our tools" being the main problem but rather humans getting so easily riled up over religion or politics. Be nice if we could all "chillax". Alas, turbulent times!

Well said. The only caveat being that guns is a rather touchy cultural issue, not one regarding free speech. I'd feel rather tense knowing a lot of people have guns around (until I get used to it, maybe)

Gimmick: It's okay m8. "Guns" are a tricky issue and in the wrong hands they do a lot of harm. But they can also save lives when in the "right" hands. Maybe someday we'll be a peaceful enough society all our arguments will be solved with polite debating or even simulated VR war games but until then finding a good solution for gun ownership and regulations is worth a ponder or two!
