I haven't commented on the whole Onision/Chris Hansen situation. Probably because mostly I'm happy with how it has gone. (Mostly) Greg is like that sly douche-bag who always gets away with the worst shit imaginable so it's fun to see him squirm and sweat under the collar! Granted, I'm kinda scared for his kids and wonder if they're going to be taken into child protective services if Greggy goes to the big house! Just imagine being Greg's daughter! Lordy!

But this blog of mine isn't specifically about Greg or "Have a seat" Hansen. Rather it's about how I'm tired of everyone justifying their stupid and cruel actions when they were teenagers because they didn't know better. It's the new "victim pageantry get out of responsibility free" card and I'm just sick of it.

Yes,big brained scientists are now saying we're more or less "incomplete people" mentally until we're 25 but to me that smells of horseshit. To me it's a ludicrous concept we're "in flux" that long,just 5 years away from being 30 at that point. Now it is true I actually didn't truly find myself wholly until I was 32 or so but you must factor in I was from a broken home,had arrested development issues,originally had trouble separating reality from the fantasies I created on the internet,and at least for awhile took pharma medications for my mental illness that unfortunately made things worse for me instead of better. You could say I got a "late start" when it came to becoming an adult.

All that on the table, I had a fucking conscience by the time I was 14. I knew right from wrong. I had enough common sense to refrain from copious amounts of drugs and alcohol,to not become the next school shooter,or run away with some rock n roll babe twice my age. My dad and I argued and screamed at each other but neither of us ended up in the hospital.

So imagine how I feel when some dumb moron starts posting with the usual "When I was 17 I was with a 20 year old guy and I liked it but now the thought of it makes me puke!" Girlfriend, say what? There was only 3-4 years age difference between you and you CHOSE to be with that guy probably because he had transportation,had weed,and you thought he was hawt! Don't play the "young and naive" bullshit because by 16 if you don't know right from wrong or actions have consequences your parents have failed you!

Look, I get it. It's easier to put all the blame on someone else because we all want to feel like we're "good people". But the truth is we are all hedonistic monsters beneath our masks of etiquette and rationality to the point only our minds with their capacity for restraint,belief in a higher power, and morality keeps us from becoming metaphorical vampires and werewolves. If you liked your "bad boy" you knew why you liked him and what "those types of guys" usually want. Being a teenager is not the same as being retarded,fam! Stop infantilizing yourselves just to come up with excuses for your dumb choices! Grab the bull by the fucking horns and take responsibility!

This of course does not let that person who was with you at the time completely off the hook either. If said individual really was an abusive controlling asshole you have my deepest sympathies! But to be frank a teenage guy can be every bit as much of a manipulative "groomer" sex-pig as a guy in his 20's! Do you honestly believe teenage guys have no "game" because trust me, when I was a teenager I saw guys my age PLAYING girls every other day to woo them enough to get a little hanky panky! If anything there's no one more driven to get passed second base than a horny teen dude who has "pussy" or "titties" as his end goal so I really don't wanna hear your bullshit about "older men" always being the villains in your stupid-ass pity-party recollections!

As Dave Chapelle puts it, "How old is 15 anyway"? My answer? Old enough to have fucking spacial awareness,common sense,and to move before being peed on by R Kelly! Peace bitches, I'm out!
