I knew lotsa Gen Xers who were "shroomers". lol. Aka, they ate magic mushrooms to "feel better",heh! Joking aside I agree. Those who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Sometimes to grow as people we need to endure what we find offensive and let those with conflicting opinions have their say too. (Preferably without instantly resorting to character assassination and buzzword slandering merely because the human being in the adjacent row adheres to different politics and grew up in a different generation.) But ey, lotsa people will throw around "Ok,Boomer" just in lighthearted jest and I don't mind a meme and shit-post storm so long as everyone is having a good time and there's no actual malicious intent involved! We could all benefit from learning to take a joke,even if at our own expense! (Though those snarky pretentious "It's just a joke" assholes that say those words just to weasel out of accountability or hide their obvious bias as well as negative intentions need a good hard pimp slap!)
