You're getting better. In time I think you will be confident enough to draw 100% on your own without tracing. Also, thanks for being honest. Many people are not. I was never huge into tracing myself but I had friends that learned that way whom today are really good illustrators. Me? I tend to use references but try to change em up a lil. I can draw entirely out of my head on a "really good day" but the planets have to align perfectly. lol. Guess it also depends on "what" I'm drawing.....
