Ryu's a BRICK HOUSE!

24HoursSleeping responds:

Man that teaser. Ryu's torso looks like a tree trunk.

Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall........

Triibot responds:

Every empire has to someday.

Wow,this is amazing. Your dad is lucky to have someone in his life willing to express love to him via so much hark work and sincerity!

Armorwing responds:

Thank you so much! Honestly I made it cause he doesn't like to tell me what gifts to get him, and it's been a while since I made something for him.

Some get you high...some help you die!

Triibot responds:

This does both!

The shadow creatures and scenery around her as she chants over the candle really help compliment the overall piece!

9Kings7Princes responds:

Thanks! This is from when I first got my drawing tablet.

It was at a time I began delving into sorcery head first, and one day at work I just had this idea of a character in ritual but I wanted to illustrate the imagery of the evoked spirits as dreamy dark figures based on their imagery as one might get in their minds eye during their own encounters. lol

The broken glass on the helmet looks really convincing! Makes me think of the Metroid universe, only in the life of a more normal everyday person without a pumped up super suit. lol. (She's still hella hawt though!)

BONESofBURIED responds:

Thank you. I was really excited with how the glass and helmet came out.

I notice all mischievous trouble makers cast long shadows for some reason!

Triibot responds:

That's a good way to know who to call the cops on.

Those are cute birbs though. lol. It's a good piece and I hope some people walk away from it pondering its' deeper implications.....

Furious-Monkey responds:

I actually muted a lot of shadow from the area above the corset. The model was just built that way and they were a little too eye-catching...it was distracting from the rest of the painting lol.

The McGee Alice games really were great. I know American has been trying to get funding to make a third game for awhile now and I honestly thought it would go smoother than it has currently. But he seems doggedly determined so I expect we'll know more at some point.

I like how you combined the creature with more Victorian gear-work aesthetics as it goes perfectly with the London setting these games take place during.

Armorwing responds:

Thank you, but I can’t take all the credit. It’s mostly his design from the first game.
I have been following American’s livestreams where he talks about the series, and I hope we can get something within the next few years or so.

Ah yes,it's that time of year upon us! Headless Horseman always spooked me as a kid. Just imagining this imposing apparition atop a ghost-horse from hell throwing fiery jack-o-lanterns at me was enough to make me mess myself!

Armorwing responds:

He is always a really cool figure> Not to mention that maniacal laugh in the Disney short

Fool, chronicler, character concept carpenter,tale-spinner,and meme spitter! Social as a lizard, one quarter wizard!
