The broken glass on the helmet looks really convincing! Makes me think of the Metroid universe, only in the life of a more normal everyday person without a pumped up super suit. lol. (She's still hella hawt though!)

BONESofBURIED responds:

Thank you. I was really excited with how the glass and helmet came out.

I notice all mischievous trouble makers cast long shadows for some reason!

Triibot responds:

That's a good way to know who to call the cops on.

Those are cute birbs though. lol. It's a good piece and I hope some people walk away from it pondering its' deeper implications.....

Furious-Monkey responds:

I actually muted a lot of shadow from the area above the corset. The model was just built that way and they were a little too eye-catching...it was distracting from the rest of the painting lol.

The McGee Alice games really were great. I know American has been trying to get funding to make a third game for awhile now and I honestly thought it would go smoother than it has currently. But he seems doggedly determined so I expect we'll know more at some point.

I like how you combined the creature with more Victorian gear-work aesthetics as it goes perfectly with the London setting these games take place during.

Armorwing responds:

Thank you, but I can’t take all the credit. It’s mostly his design from the first game.
I have been following American’s livestreams where he talks about the series, and I hope we can get something within the next few years or so.

Ah yes,it's that time of year upon us! Headless Horseman always spooked me as a kid. Just imagining this imposing apparition atop a ghost-horse from hell throwing fiery jack-o-lanterns at me was enough to make me mess myself!

Armorwing responds:

He is always a really cool figure> Not to mention that maniacal laugh in the Disney short

Reluctant angel: I don't want to!

Like how they are just chilling on the gentle golem's shoulders. lol. If Fiona ever made it into a capcom fighting game I keep thinking maybe summoning a giant homunculus or golem would be on the table. Kind of like how Jill can summon Tyrant in Marvel versus Capcom 2! Of course her doggo would have to somehow play into her move set too!

Ruedefaux responds:

haha the most fiona ever got into a fighting game was a skin for cammy :c

It certainly is frustrating and disconcerting isn't it? If I wasn't a gamer and doodler I'd be a vegetable from all the propaganda and contradicting information right now. Luckily my escapism has kept me marginally sane!

Furious-Monkey responds:

It's so hard to avoid the horror show. I've had to stop watching the news and took a year off of almost all tv "programming". Internet is a more customizable, so that helped. Gaming, landscaping, and art were great alternatives for me last year...and this year, for that matter.

This is why the ocean in certain respects terrifies me more than outer space. lol. The possibilities are just as endless, just as terrifying, and a mere beach away!

Armorwing responds:

Same, but I'm a sucker for monster designs (plus Subnautica is a cool game) so I keep coming back!

My brain is NOT a flaming empty coffin! Okay, maybe it is!

Triibot responds:

lol
